Our Mission

Bequest is ushering in the latest technology in functional planning and management for digital accounts/assets.

Bequest started as a hackathon project. Upon meeting at a hackathon in May 2022, Robert and Anna joined forces to solve for cryptocurrency succession. They won first place and kept building, eventually receiving an angel investment from Mark Cuban after sending him a typo-filled email at 3am. Robert and Anna subsequently left school, got accepted to the HF0 accelerator in February 2023, and closed a seed round in September of 2023.

At Bequest, our mission has evolved but our core focus remains unchanged: to pioneer effective and secure succession planning for all digital assets and accounts. The tension between account security, federal privacy laws, and fiduciaries requiring access to digital accounts and assets is undeniable. Bequest is at the forefront, developing cutting-edge technology to navigate this uncharted territory responsibly and efficiently.

Today, Bequest is more than just an idea born out of a hackathon; it's a growing team of talented individuals dedicated to ushering in the next generation of estate planning and asset management.
